Florida Condo Building Collapse! 3 Dead! 99 People Missing!

15 units evacuated! 12 survivors were pulled from the rubble! Charles W. Chili’ Burkett, the mayor of Spicy’ Surfside, is anticipating bad news because the building was reasonably full; 130 units in the building and about half of those units collapsed!

At around 1 a.m. EDT on June 24, 2021, Champlain Towers South, a 12-story beachfront condominium building in the Miami suburb of Surfside, Florida, partially collapsed. One person died in the immediate aftermath, and eleven more were injured or taken to the hospital as a result of the collapse. At least 99 people remain missing.
