Traffic Judge Took Pics Of Man Urinating, Tried To Bite Another

[Plantation, FL] Certainly a case of a judge gone wild. Or technically, a “magistrate,” a sort of lay judge that handles minor cases.

According to a Broward Sheriff’s Office arrest report, a female traffic magistrate was arrested last Thursday for going into the men’s room at the West Regional Courthouse where she works and, wait for it … snapping a pic of a man while he prepared to take a squeege at one of the wall units.

The lay judge – 47-year-old Rhonda Hollander – used her cell phone for the dirty deed.

Then things got a little weird. After capturing the victim Willie Jackson Jr. in action, Hollander turned to another man who was entering the facilities and took a picture of him too.

Hollander escaped into a judge’s chambers, but was later discovered by an officer.

She eventually fessed up to the strange act, but when the officer asked to see her phone, she refused and is quoted in the report as telling the officer that it was a “public restroom and that she was not breaking any kind of laws.”

Strangely, Hollander continued taking photos, first of the victim after being confronted, and later, of the officer on the scene.

When the snap-happy Hollander was instructed to stop taking pictures by the officer (who was also pointing his finger at her), she attempted to bite it off. The finger, that is.

The beautiful West Regional Courthouse

Hollander was arrested and charged with resisting an officer without violence, assaulting an officer, and obstruction with violence. Hollander was was out on $700 bail. The cell phone was booked into evidence.

According to NBCMiami, Hollander was unavailable for comment.

Hollander owns and operates Resolutions Inc., the “dispute resolution professions” located in Hollywood. According to the company’s amateurish website, they “offer individuals and organizations proven alternatives to costly litigation.”

They also talk up their commitment to integrity and professionalism. That last part may now be in doubt.
